The middle school is an environment of exploration and change.  Upon entering around the age of eleven and leaving around fourteen, a tremendous amount of physical, mental and emotional maturity takes place.  Our goal at Berne Union Middle School is to offer a safe and caring atmosphere that will allow these changes to be positive experiences.  The 2011/12 school year will be full of opportunities that will promote middle school growth, as we academically prepare our young people for high school, and socially their roles as young adults in an ever-changing global society.
